Bike for Kids

Bike for Kids began in the summer of 2017, when Nir Meltzer and Sean Squires cycled across Canada to raise money for MBF to directly support paediatric brain tumour research. In their first year alone, they raised $75,000! Since then, through the Bike 4 Kids initiative, Nir and Sean have raised over $240k to date on behalf of Meagan Bebenek Foundation and are still going strong!

“Having lost my father to brain cancer, I was immediately drawn to MBF and the cause. Raising awareness and funds for paediatric brain tumour research has become our greatest pleasure. We are proud to be Meagan Bebenek Foundation ambassadors!” says Meltzer.

Our Bike for Kids events look a little bit different every year, but at the heart of them all is a passion for biking and a drive to raise awareness for paediatric brain tumours.

This past year, we held our 6th Bike For Kids Spin-A-Thon where participants in the fundraiser got to bike for up to three hours at a Toronto-based spin studio in support of children and families affected by paediatric brain tumours.
