About the Role
Meagan Bebenek Foundation a registered Canadian charity focused on creating a world where no children suffer from brain tumours. We are seeking a Website Team Lead in a volunteer capacity to work alongside our Communications Team Lead to manage and optimize our website, portals and event landing pages ensuring content is in line with brand guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a background in communications and/or digital marketing. They will be familiar with WIX and experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and practices.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to apply the concepts acquired in the classroom and gain invaluable working experience.
Requirements
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Communications Lead to build the communications plan
Lead the Website Team providing direction, support and coaching to all team members.
Manage integrations with social media and donation platforms
Work closely with external provider(s) and the Website Team members to ensure that the website is maintained and updated ensuring continuity of themes and design layout.
Identify, develop, and deploy strategies to optimize site performance
Develop and design content to be published on the website
Attend and actively participate in Communication Team meetings and other meeting forums as required.
Time Commitment:
5 to 8 hours / month
