Julian Pope was diagnosed with cancer at the end of January in 2003 at the age of 7.

Undeterred by his illness, Julian's indomitable spirit led him to participate in his first HUG that same year, although he had to be driven along the route by his devoted mother due to his health condition. It was during this event that they experienced an overwhelming sense of awe and gratitude as they witnessed the multitude of people walking together, united by a shared cause and offering unwavering support to all families and children affected by paediatric brain tumours.

Julian's journey toward recovery was made possible through the tireless care and support provided by the incredible team at SickKids.
